Feeding forward after the floods

When floods displaced herds and disrupted feed supply across Sindh and Balochistan, the animals that survived faced a second challenge: recovering condition on compromised rations. Nutrition became part of the relief.
Nutrition in a recovery
After a disaster, surviving livestock are often depleted body condition lost, immunity under pressure, production stalled. Getting the right vitamins and minerals back into the ration is one of the fastest ways to help animals rebuild and to protect the households that depend on them.
Total Nutrition directed premix supply toward the affected regions to support that recovery, working so that producers rebuilding their herds had access to the fortification their animals needed.
